SANJA FROM CROATIA

SANJA FROM CROATIA

Home  >>  PROJECTS IN ITALY  >>  ERASMUS FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS  >>  SANJA FROM CROATIA

Throughout my life I have pushed myself to be the best, to learn what I needed to learn to make my ideas reality and to achieve what I needed to achieve in order, to be an inspiring leader. I wish to participate in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme because I think this programme would provide me specific tools, professional experience and knowledge in order to achieve my goals and more importantly to gain experience from the host entrepreneur who may act sometime as a business mentor. I know this would be one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.

* How should your stay abroad help you develop your business?:
The possibility of adapting to a foreign country would help me be more flexible and agile, both personally and professionally. Moreover, working abroad would give me the opportunity to continue developing those abilities, and I would be able to expand my network of contacts, which could be of great importance during the development of my project. I believe that being involved in an entrepreneurial network, creates opportunities for each member and in the same time adds value to the whole system.

* Have you worked or studied abroad before? How do you plan to prepare yourself for your stay with the Host Entrepreneur?:
Living in a foreign country is an enriching experience and it undoubtedly influenced me both personally and professionally. I want to dive into the culture and traditions of the Host Country. I would get used to a different way of living, a different timetable, different opinions and ways of thinking, and this is why I would be very open-minded and tolerant, and would be more than willing to learn how to live and work with people from other countries. I would analyse the business of the Host Entrepreneur before I going to go there, searching in which areas we are doing the same things, in which we are different and in what we can collaborate
and create synergies. I would go with an open mind to learn as much I can and try to help as a new entrepreneur.

* Which added value can you provide to your envisaged Host Entrepreneur? Why should the Host Entrepreneur choose you?:
I am a person who’s more than willing to commit to my Host Entrepreneur’s Project with an optimistic attitude, whatever the business area it belongs to. I consider myself a very creative person, able to learn easily new skills, I find myself experienced enough to offer quality in the work I am able to develop, to provide new great ideas as well and there is in me a need of travelling abroad and mix my knowledge with that new knowledge I can get from other

cultures, which is essential to be a great professional today. I am a very curious and passionate person, and I am always motivated to embark myself in anything which I have a slight interest in. I am also very determined when it comes to decision-making situations, I am not afraid to make decisions and I am very confident when taking them. I am very energetic and dynamic in the workplace. I work with enthusiasm and I encourage the rest of my colleagues to work together. I am very ambitious when it comes to setting personal and professional goals and I am very persistent when it comes to trying to reach them. I am a very extrovert person, and this makes it very easy for me to integrate in the work groups. I’ve got very good communication skills and I make the most of them to create impact and
influence on those who are listening.
