INTERNATIONAL ERASMUS+ MEETING “ATTRACTING TOMORROW’S ADULTS TODAY ” SAINT-BRIEUC BRETAGNE, FRANCE FEBRUARY 13 – 19 !CLOSED!
Through the sharing of good practices and exchange of experience we presented the councillors how to work with young people in the towns and villages, and what tools to use to render the locations more youth-friendly.
Through this method of education we intend to increase the offer of informal education and leisure time alternatives, to engage more youth in the dialogue with the decision makers in the planning and offering such services in the short-term and to make the home town more attractive to young people in the long-term.
The principal goal of the project is to apply the efficient method of education for the target group 40+ in order to instigate communication between the decision makers and young people; to share experience and identify tools for a town which is open and friendly to young people.
The secondary goal is the awareness of how important it is to integrate youth of all age and social groups as well as to integrate youth with special learning needs and/or limited opportunities. A long-term goal is the improvement of quality of public domain by availability of informal education and alternative leisure time activities for youth, their engagement in the civil and community life. By meeting those goals, a negative phenomenon – migration of young people from the country to the city and loss of connectedness to the place where they live – will be eliminated in the long term.
The project is a continuation to the outcomes from our previous KA2 project, Education of decision-makers and social services providers – quality in care. Its realisation did prove the importance of the target group in community development education, as it includes the corner stone of a civil society, education and integration of youth, socially challenged and handicapped persons. The course of the project has also revealed the pitfalls of providing education to the target group due to their age, lack of foreign language skills, low time availability, and introspection skill.

INTERNATIONAL ERASMUS + CONFERENCE „ BUILDING RESILIENT COMMUNITIES – YOUTH WORK AT MUNICIPALITY LEVEL” BRAGA, PORTUGAL MARCH 21 – 26 !CLOSED!
The COVID-19 pandemic, which has brought about one of the worst crises in recent history, requires continuous
vigilance and coordinated action. It has been accompanied by unprecedented challenges to youth work,
demanding organizations such as CSO’s and municipalities to adjust their intervention in order to respond to the
new challenges that young people face(d).
DYPALL Network and all the project partners believe that it’s urgent, and more relevant than ever, to create
effective and sustainable measures to build more resilient communities that are able to cope with a new reality.
The involvement of youth in decision-making in cooperation with local authorities is crucial and it demands willingness and commitment from both sides, learning, as well as sharing experiences and tools to shape and further develop spaces of co-creation and shared decision-making. This entails developing strategies, building structures and relations of trust and cooperation between actors, allowing better response to the nowadays needs and difficulties of young people. Therefore, we believe that the International Seminar “Building Resilient Communities – Youth Work at Municipality
Level during COVID-19 times” will represent a vital platform for youth and municipality workers all around Europe
to come together, learn and discuss new tools and practices to improve youth work at the municipality level

INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR „ FROM SOCIAL DISTANCING TO SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT AND PARTICIPATION ” SOFIA,BULGARIA APRIL 26 – MAY 03 !CLOSED!
The COVID-19 crisis has dramatically affected Europe and the well-being of its citizens. The European institutions and the governments of the Member States must use this momentum to work for fundamental changes in our social, economic and political systems. There is a need for a qualitative change in the current social and economic model, which leads to inequalities and environmental degradation and leaves us unprepared when crises hit.

INTERNATIONAL ERASMUS+ MEETING „ EQUAL LIFE!” MALTA ISLAND, BELLA VISTA HOTEL MAY 09 – 18 !CLOSED!
Gender inequality is present in every society in the World, and Gender-based Violence is one of the most widespread forms of human rights abuse and a violation of human dignity anywhere, including all the member states of Council of Europe.
Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. Providing women and girls with equal access to education, health care, decent work, and representation in political and economic decision-making processes will fuel sustainable economies and benefit societies and humanity at large. Implementing new legal frameworks regarding female equality in the workplace and the eradication of harmful practices targeted at women is crucial to ending the gender-based discrimination prevalent in many countries around the world.
Facts and figures:
• While women have made important inroads into political office across the world, their representation in national parliaments at 23.7 per cent is still far from parity.
• In 46 countries, women now hold more than 30 per cent of seats in national parliament in at least one chamber.
• More than 100 countries have taken action to track budget allocations for gender equality.
• Globally, working women still earn 24% less than men on average.
Gender equality is achieved when women and men enjoy the same rights and opportunities across all sectors of society, including economic participation and decision-making, and when the different behaviours, aspirations and needs of women and men are equally valued and favoured.
The aim of the project is to provide space and time for youth organizations working on gender issues to exchange
examples of good practice and to increase participants’ awareness towards the role of the gender balance and
equality in youth work, as well to develop their skills, knowledge and competencies for a gender-sensitive approach to human rights education within their work and their communities.
INTERNATIONAL TRAINING COURSE „ ON TIME COMPETENCES” SREMSKA MITROVICA, SERBIA MAY 11-19 !CLOSED!
With the transition of partner countries to the market economy, globalization of world markets, intensification of competition before domestic entities, problems arise in finding new ways to ensure long-term existence and success. Today, strengthening basic skills and developing key competences for adults is a requirement of time. Often the key to success in the fight against competition is the social inclusion of disadvantaged groups.
The main goal of the Project is to educate adults on strengthening basic skills and developing key competences of socially excluded people.
Specific objectives:
- identifying the educational needs of adults from disadvantaged groups
- activation and motivation of target group representatives to undertake active educational activities

INTERNATIONAL TRAINING COURSE „ ADVANTAGE” SZEGED, HUNGARY MAY 25 – 01 JUNE !CLOSED!
Age-related stereotypes and discrimination are more typical characteristics of our society than ever.
Representatives of different generations are victim and guilty at the same time, because they discriminate people
of other generations while also they are discriminated often. Lack of intergenerational communication which
causes misunderstanding, leads to stereotypes and discrimination. For this reason, our society needs
well-prepared youth workers who are able to understand and accept each generation promoting in this way the
intergenerational communication and acceptance also between them. However, most of the time the youth
workers do not have the right knowledge and they are not prepared of how to handle situations like these.
Thus, the aims of the project are to:
1) develop mutual acceptance and understanding between people from different generations reducing the
intergenerational gap;
2) fight against stereotypes and promote tolerance and solidarity through different experiences and viewpoints for
a better life and society;
3) make youth workers able to involve also elderly in their activities in order to bring closer youth and old people
who have similar social difficulties, such as loneliness or difficulties in integration.
A 7+1 day long training course will be held in Szeged, Hungary with the participation of 3 youth workers/partner
(Hungarian partner will delegate also 2 trainers). Participants of the training will be youth workers who are able to
transfer the gained knowledge with other youth workers within their reach sharing their experiences with them.
There will be further volunteers present from the older and younger generations as well. The involved seniors
(over 60 y.o.), are motivated to take part in an international project working with youth workers in order to promote
mutual acceptance between generations and to reduce age-related stereotypes. Younger volunteers will be to
help communication among elderly people and international youth workers during the training and aid the trainers’
work.
INTERNATIONAL TRAINING COURSE „ DIGITOOLS FOR BETTER YOUTHWORK” TURKU, FINLAND MAY 28 – 04 JUNE !CLOSED!
According to a EUROSTAT statistics, 91% of young people in the EU make daily use of the internet compared to 71% of the total population. This number illustrates very well how important the online sphere for youngsters is. Online tools and services offer great opportunities for personal and professional life and development, but they can involve many threats and can endanger the well-being of young people in different ways. Examples are cyber-bullying, hate speech, loss of personal data and privacy rights, data theft, exposure to fake news, etc. just to name a few. In early 2020, the move to digital youth work was particularly prominent due to the confinements imposed by governments around Europe during the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced many youth workers and teachers to move their activities online.
This caused additional concerns to regard personal data and privacy of young people, and how this data is being misused. Because of these reasons we believe that it is important to increase the level of media literacy of youngsters by informing them about a healthy way of using digital media and to reach out to youngsters with means of digital youth work. This Training Course is for youth workers and youth leaders who want to learn useful methods of digital youth work for their target group (especially youngsters with fewer opportunities) or are working already with these kinds of methods and want to share their methods, get inspired, and complement their toolbox. This project contains a training Course and a monitored follow-up phase.
This professional development training’s target group consists of youth workers, NGO workers, youth leaders and media people working with youth. Participants should have at least good command of verbal and written English and be available for the whole project time (preparation, main activity, material development, dissemination, evaluation). Knowledge of non-formal learning and youth-related topics will be beneficial for a productive process and enhanced
experience sharing. We are looking for six participants from Finland and five participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Italy and Turkey.

We are ONE! – becoming active citizens, is a project which will be held in Malta but was designed along with
other young people representing their NGOs and who are full of energy and enthusiasm. We aim on transmitting
that same energy and motivation to the young people who will be joining the youth exchange in Malta. The work
has already started online in order to come up with this project idea and workshops. However we also created a

INTERNATIONAL ERASMUS + EXCHANGE „ MAKE YOUR COMMUNITY YOUNG AGAIN” DELLO, BRESCIA ITALIA JUNE 13 – 20 !CLOSED!
The implementation of this project aims at contributing to reverse the national and European trend that sees
young people increasingly disconnected from public life, whether it is cultural, social or economic.
The result is a worst-off situation for all actors: young people are lacking material possibilities, because of their
scarce representation capacity, and communities, at the local, national and European level, will lack in the long
term a fundamental generational contribution.
The goal is to raise awareness in the participants of the fundamental role of young people as active citizens,
indicating how self-organization and NGOs’ activities are the main tools available to be main actors in their local
communities.
The participants opted for an instrumental approach, assuring that the project will not only produce theoretical
analyses, but also practical and methodological tools, useful once back in their local communities.
The added value of the project is also to upgrade at the European level the common challenges of each local
community, allowing an inter-community and inter-cultural comparison and a transfer of best practices among
groups of participants coming from distant but similar contexts in terms of social dynamics.
The Youth exchange is the implemented activity, as it best reflects the educational goals set by the group of participants.
The core of the exchange are the sessions based on the method of non-formal education and the main tools used are brain storming, debate, group presentation, role play, artistic performance, energizer, case study, development of a survey, preparation of a public event and self-evaluation of learning process.
The participants involved are 35, coming from 6 different European countries and members of the 7 partner organisations. Each partner identified a group leader, who will act as facilitator during the activity. The selected age range is 18-30 years old, as it is representative of the target of the NGOs involved in the partnership.
The participants share personal interests and similar associative values. At the same time, the diversity of expertise and mission among the NGOs guarantees a multidisciplinary approach, useful for the development of the critical thinking addressed by the project.
INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EXCHANGE”INVOLVEMENT RESPONSIBILITY INCLUSION” HOREZU,ROMANIA JULY 29 – AUGUST 09 !CLOSED!
In the last year, the whole world has been put to the test due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Access to education and training has proven to be, more than ever, fundamental in order to ensure a rapid recovery of the population, while promoting equal opportunities for all. The most vulnerable at this time are people with fewer opportunities.
The European Union’s inclusion and diversity strategy aims to help address the barriers they face, by improving accessibility for more participants with fewer opportunities, by accessing various personal, socio-educational and
professional development programs in Europe and beyond, so that everyone can keep up with the changes.
Joining these challenges, APDD comes with the project proposal: Opportunities: Involvement, Responsibility,Inclusion (OppIRI,) which will bring together 28 youth workers from 7 European countries, the central point being a seminar that will take place in Romania.
The aim of the project is to discover new strategies of work (good practices, tools and new working methods adapted to the changes, etc.) and apply them in working with young people with fewer opportunities by involving, connecting and empowering them in the current activities of the organizations ( including in activities of participation in a youth exchange project, volunteering and not only).
All the project activities will be based on non-formal methods that encourage team spirit, active participation and
creativity. A challenge for this project is to adapt them to the pandemic triggered by the COVID 19 virus.
During the mobility period, non-formal analytical methods will be used that encourage experiences and exchange
of information, ideas and good practices and informal methods: internet. (the list is open and available to the
participating youth workers).
