Our toolkit for youth workers is out!
We’re thrilled to present our newly released toolkit, Ecofeminism: Working Towards an Equal and Green Youth, an essential resource designed for youth workers dedicated to empowering young people through ecofeminism. This toolkit offers a structured, accessible guide to exploring ecofeminism and includes tools to incorporate these ideas into youth-centered work, sparking conversations on environmental justice, gender equality, and sustainable practices.
The toolkit serves as a hands-on tool for youth workers, with content divided into the following sections:
Part I: Ecofeminism Conceptualization and History – A foundational overview of ecofeminism, tracing its origins and key concepts.
Part II: Contemporary Ecofeminism – Examines modern ecofeminist practices and the issues ecofeminism addresses today, from climate justice to sustainable agriculture.
Part III: Great Ecofeminists – Introduces influential figures who have shaped ecofeminist thought and activism, inspiring future leaders.
Part IV: Tips to Become Ecofeminist – Offers practical advice on adopting ecofeminist principles in daily life and advocating for ecofeminism within the community.
Part V: References and Resources for Learning and Growth – Curated resources to deepen understanding and encourage continued learning.
Part VI: Activities for Youth Workers – Provides engaging activities that youth workers can implement with young people, helping them explore ecofeminist ideas in practical ways.
Part VII: Annexed Resources for Further Exploration – Offers additional resources focusing on key topics such as gender equality, environmental protection, and climate change.
