My name is Sarah, I’m 20 years old, and I come from the beautiful country of France 🇫🇷, the land of baguettes 🥖, croissants 🥐, and rich culture 🎨.
I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Banking 💼📊 from Lyon, where I developed a deep interest in the intersection between finance and social impact 🌍💡. I’ve chosen to join this incredible project because I felt a strong desire to connect with people 🤝, exchange ideas 💬, and broaden my perspectives on the world 🌎. I believe that by engaging with others, I can enhance my understanding of different cultures 🎭 and deepen my knowledge of global challenges 🌱.
During my time here, I hope to contribute positively to local initiatives 👥, immerse myself in the vibrant Italian culture 🇮🇹🍕, and cultivate new skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment 🛠️🤓.
Through this volunteering experience, I also aim to broaden my professional horizons 🚀 and explore how financial principles 📉📈 can be applied in meaningful ways to foster social change ❤️. I’m excited to learn, grow 🌱, and make a difference alongside all of you! 🌟✨
First month of october
New people, nex places, new experiences.
I have spent time with some of my volunteer friends during activities such as at Mensa, the social restaurant where you can enjoy excellent Italian food, and at Bari, the Italian school where you meet people from diverse backgrounds.
I visited a bit of the city during the week-end and also tried some good pasta !
A bit later in the month, we went to Barletta for an exchange related to citizen journalism against fake news. I also visited the “Castel del Monte” nearby.
I have been able to help as an organizer and also as a participant during a day at the university, with a journalist. We collectively discussed various topics related to information.
